Written Wishes dials in all of the information to the real knowledge you need to know. Save yourself time and energy and learn only what you need to know to protect your family.

Customized

You may be hesitant to take an online course. You don’t know if your situation or skills fit what the material of the course includes. With Written Wishes you not only have access to the course material 24/7, you are assigned a Coach, a real person who is available to you via email to ensure your plan is customized and reflective of your specific wishes.

Organization

What good is creating an estate plan if your loved one doesn’t know where or how to access your estate planning records? With Written Wishes you will be mailed a three-ring binder and storage box, where you will accumulate all of your important estate planning records. This will make it easier for you to update your estate plan as needed in the years to come.

Who teaches Written Wishes?

Meet Lea

Meet the Written Wishes course author and coach Lea Satterfield.

Lea has studied estate planning for over 20 years.  Starting in high school, Lea worked in a legal office where estate plans were created. She witnessed family feuds over distributing assets and she also witnessed families coming together when loved ones had clear wishes. In college she studied estate planning and passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(R) examination, on which estate planning was one of the six topics of the exam.

Lea created a holistic approach to estate planning in Written Wishes. While Lea had some estate planning records in place prior to the pandemic, the pandemic motivated her and her spouse to get their estate plan in order to ensure their daughters were cared for and had resources if the worst were to happen. She boiled all of her research to prepare her own estate plan down into the need-to-know information for Written Wishes, to make your life easier!
